Ot was hard to get Penny (the hen) to sit on the bench. She kept jumping off! T-Rex (the rooster) could sit there all day.

Entry #2 - Why Have Backyard Chickens?




Because the surprises never end.....the tiny egg is from one of my 4 year old hens. They laid all those others in the question. I have no idea which one laid the tiny egg this week but it was found in the same nest with a normal medium sized egg. Wild birds have no access to the area. I really wonder if one laid 2 eggs at one time
