Oh if only I had my camera ready today!!
My poor 15 year old border collie had a meaty bone she was standing up gnawing on, and my SL wyandotte wouldn't stop pecking at it. So Sky (the dog) kept spinning away from her. Then SilverWing (the hen) decided she was just going to take it, so she grabbed hold and they had a 2 minute (pretty evenly matched sad to say) tug of war with that bone before Sky shook her head and broke SilverWing's grip!!!
My guilt at laughing took over so I shooed off the hen. I also had some sympathizing words with poor ol' Sky about her epic battle, yes I had seen that bird before, it really was huge, she was lucky to escape with her life! LOL
