I do that too sometimes. Yep the spread sheet it still showing my old original guess from first of the year. I changed it about a month ago, then one more time for fine tuning last night.
I think in the event that there was still duplicates, it would be a good idea to just bump the second place guesser to the next hour on the same date
in other words if there were 2 at
3/24/11 10 pm
the second place guesser should just be 3/24/11 at 11 pm
That seems fair, and wont cost anyone a place who did take the time to vote.
Just my two cents though, will have to see what the host decide to do on it.
Again folks, it's an unofficial spreadsheet. Also, if you changed your guess and didn't follow the rule, I didn't review 176 guesses every time I had chance to look at it. I updated based on what the next post was when I left off. If someone wants to rekey all 176 entries, please, feel welcome to do so! Google spreadsheets are free
To change your guess: 1) Edit your first guest post AND post a new reply that you changed your guess and what your new guess is.
The contest will be based solely on what you post here, not the spreadsheet....it was an attempt to try and help folks keep an eye on the guesses (hence, the Last Edit time, so you can tell where I had to leave off). All times are EST and rounded to the nearest hour.
Be the closest to guess the DATE & HOUR (Eastern Standard Time)
It's Nifty's contest, and again, the spreadsheet is unofficial.
