Wrong kind of quail. It is not appropriate to use Gambel quail images when you are raising Coturnix quail.

Diggin’ this design. Very clean. Great symmetry. I’m not a quailie either... @Nabiki would it be logical to think the beak could be opened about 40-50% further back along the arch to make a more “full mouthed laugh” look? I roughly guessing where the two wedges almost touch in the white space?

Thank you. I take pride in my work. Again, I don't need a prize. Besides its really unfair to everyone else since I do this for a living. All I ask is that you let me use the logo for my portfolio, other than that it is 100 percent yours. Give the prize to the second runner up.

The Wikipedia page for "common quail" has a picture of a quail with its beak open. They are very similar in appearance to coturnix quail. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_quail

I thought about doing it that way but it looked to "scary dinosaur" instead of cute, cuddly quail
