if it wasn’t for COVID, i probably wouldn’t have chickens as a hobby...or several other hobbies.

COVID was truly a year of self education and evaluation. it wasn’t without stress, but it was like a pause on life, and a time to realize what stuff actually mattered...for me anyway. the one thing i appreciated was that life slowed down and got basic. it’s a year of life i’ll never forget and probably never appreciate until 10 years from now.

Some young ones are still hidden away in rabbit hutches.

i have 23 laying hens, 1 rooster and 90 meat birds on the way. separate brooder house and coop for the meat birds. meat bird cooo is not complete...thank you, Covid.
