Let me just jump in and say that Australorps are known for their beetle green in their feathers BUT as many have pointed out other black chickens have the green.

I went with Australorp based on what they looked like as chicks -- they have "I'm an Australorp chick" written all over them. Oh, except for that one in the front...that's the Barred Rock. My Australorps have the white tipped wings, also...I believe that is a distinguishing feature.

Ok I just compared my list to the posted list, and I somehow messed up. I somehow missed one of the white birds.
