I thought you did an excellent & very thorough job researching these breeds, photographing them, etc. Thanks for putting on the contest and giving us all a fun challenge.

where can I find a list of who is what? #1 is a RRRed cokerel, etc. I didn't have time to enter but I want to know how close I got.

Thx,
Cyn

As I am here working on this I can hear Tuxedo Sam crowing up a storm. He started at 6 this morning. I am not sure how long he can last out there. I have an offer to send a chicken to a farm..... It looks like he is going to be the lucky little guy.

I forgot to edit that one. On a second look (about post #100 or so) I rechecked and there were not white earlobes. So I gave credit for any red chicken. I think when I compared dark or light of feathers that it was actually a RIR.

They do have red and brown leghorns that seem to look more like a chicken to me than a white leghorn. Seems to me that the whites always look like they are skinny. But I have seen the other colors in nice fat hens. I checked feathersite I think, or just searched by "______ leghorn chicken" (insert color) and got a bunch of images to look at.
