The best way to get eyeglass frames that aren't out of style right away is to not go with any crazy colors. Stick to browns/blacks/golds/silvers (matte not shiny). Shapewise, choose what compliments your face. I go with more square ovals...I know that's not a shape...because I have an upside down triangle for a face.
