I really enjoy the Icelandics too, esp since you never seem to know what you're going to get..

I want Icelandics SOOO bad, darn it! It's gonna have to wait till I'm back in funds again. One of my eventual goals is to have a small flock of all the landraces I can get my hands on -- at least the really colorful ones ;-) I like landraces. I love the "show chicken" breeds too, the ones bred to standard, they are truly stunning But the part of me that values utility and endurance married to beauty and grace really responds to the landraces -- they kinda fit my sense of aesthetics, if that makes sense!
