i set 24 eggs 18 hatched 12 died one by one, out of the six that lived one is mentally unfunctonal, another one sits in a corner hifing from every one and attacks when they come to close my silkies are very odd

I think my worse hatches came when I just started to hatch. I felt so bad with all the chickies I lost. I'm better now though.

My worst was when we had a power outage and then a temp spike. It read 114 degrees Needless to say I lost the entire incubator full. I did cry as there were CCLs in there.

We set 60 eggs, 4 breeds and out of 18 silkie eggs had 3 hatch, one had failure to thrive, one got wry neck and the one that survived is a roo with no bantys in the flock.

OH my goodness. That's awful.

First time we ever set our own khaki campbell eggs we set 24.........lock down was 23............... had 22 pip....................had 2 hatch................20 turned AFTER pipping the wrong way and suffocated

And they say chickens aren't too smart?!?! (bad joke)

I'm so sorry. That would have made me cry too. I hate loosing babies.

First hatch was New Year last year. Had 24 shipped eggs, they were horribly packaged,only 2 hatched.
