Cougar! She heard a growl and looked up and sitting in the tree was a cougar. she started squawking and flapping her wings. the cougar jumped out of the tree and was right behind her. but right behing him, was the fox that spared her...

He told her to follow him, and they darted towards a deep hole under a tree, the puma couldn't dig deep enough so he ran off, suddenly both heard the cry of a baby...

and Chloe said "i know that sound! thats my daughter, Henny Penny!!!!!!!!!!!!! "

...Chloe was suddenly very worried. Her daughter was only a few weeks old, and she was just an innocent young pullet whom Chloe had hatched herself. Now she seemed to be in great danger. The cougar must have run off and found the chicken coop, and Henny Penny! So Chloe thanked the kind fox and ran as fast as her short, little legs could carry her, in the direction that the cry had come from...

She got back to the coop, but there werent any lions. she found the head rooster, Fred, andasked what happened. he was so scared he could barely talk, but he told her the puma came by and grabbed Henny. then the puma told the whole coop "by the time im done with this appetizer, my main dish should show up trying to find her daughter!" then she ran off. That meant Chloe had to act fast and new what she should do...

she had to go after the cougar. Fred and the fox offered to help her. She agreed for them to come along and trio set off...

They heard some more scared chirps and fallowed the sound. they were getting closer and closer. they walked out of the forest and right in the middle of a valley, she saw Henny Penny

...The cougar had poor little Henny Penny trapped under his massive paws so she couldn't escape. At least he hasn't eaten her yet, Chloe thought thankfully. But what now? What was a small little hen like Chloe to do in a situation like this?

The fox suddenly jumped on the cougars back, then Fred grabbed Henny penny and Chloe chewed on the lion's muzzle. The fox ran back to the coop with some fur in his mouth, Fred flew back with Penny, But Chloe was caught! With one final blow, the cougar knocked out Chloe. Luckily, Chloe was flying yesterday, and landed in a pile of moth balls. The lion was so annoyed by the smell, that he ran away.
Chloe woke up,then She ran back to the coop so she can spend time with The chickens, Henny Penny, and the fox.

He found his chicken coop about 2 hours later,but there were no chickens. Then, Tallik saw a fat snake! " No..." Tallik whispered softly. Then, the snake attacked!
