Controlling Dust in the Coop

I've tried leaves but we can get a lot of rain and it gets very nasty and smelly. Love the gravel except have worried about it being hard on their feet. I know we are getting away from original question about dust but this is all good and appreciated.

.....and it will gather all the detritus and might end up reeking.

<chuckles> Blowing dust around the coop won't necessarily get it out of the coop.

Yes, last time I tried it half of it ended up on me instead.

LOL, yeah, I can see how it might not work that well for some folks. I have big coops, the main one being a 24 x 24 brick building with a vaulted ceiling. Works great for me, but I didn't take into consideration that not everyone has a set up like mine.

I think I will sweep (cause most dust on floor) and then blow to see how it works for me. I'll do it when hubby not at home to tell me 'I told you so!' LOL

I've got this vision of it going out the door, but that's probably a fantasy. Broom and shop vac.
