I have wondered why store-bought eggs don’t taste as good as farm raised chicken eggs. So, I went to the internet for an opinion. Guess what? Ninety percent of the sites state that there is no difference. Really? So I went to the store, and purchased a dozen of way-too-expensive eggs that came just short of advertising that the Queen herself produced them. Hurried home and did a taste test. And guess what? Yep, they had little to no taste at all compared to the farm raised. So, I can only guess that I’m a half-baked fool and the internet is correct, or, we chicken-people are the only ones that really know the true answer.

The store bought eggs arent supplemented with weeds, and free ranging.

I hate eggs. Obviously we’ve always had store bought until we got chickens and I’ve never liked them. They make me gag. I wasn’t expecting much when I tried our girls’ eggs for the first time, but wow. I could actually eat them without gagging. They were good. I don’t hate eggs anymore. There is totally a difference!

And other thing is they pump so much chemicals into those chickens through their feed and vaccines... who knows what's in them!
They also get limited sunshine, one their "vegans" - chickens LOVE spiders, worms, and other bugs, what if one gets inside the barn? The chickens are going to eat it!, they have no grass or other plants, NO treats either!
I feel bad for them... they are not living the lives that chickens should.
