Conversations with a 4 year old

It sounds like you have a wonderful little boy. He reminds me a lot of my son who just turned 7. He loves to help do whatever he can. He will feed the cows, drive the tractor around, and today at the feed store he picked up the 50 lb. bag of chick starter to put in the cart. He needed to be a little bit bigger to get it into the cart, but he carried it to my DH to put in the cart. LOL.

After reading all this, this reminded me of the old Art Linkletter Show "Kids Say the Darndest Things" Otherwise, all of you have great kids who don't mind having chores to do.

He sounds like a great kid. He's lucky to have his own little flock...I know I would love to have one. Start teaching him to read already!! He does fit right in!

Well, We didn't try to figure out the buffs from the ones he collected today- we just put them in the frig.

He's a great kid. Most mornings, he gets up, gets his clothes on, lets the dog out, and goes and opens the coop and checks food and water. Many times, after he does that stuff, I look around for him and he's out shoveling the driveway (even as ineffective as he is at it.

) He does all this without being asked.

my oldest who just turned 18 spent every moment he could with my dad when he was little. Even if it was just sitting in his little chair in the barn watching him work on the tractors. He learned alot. He loves being outside working. He's been spreading maneure all weekend.
