Convince my parents! Help!!

So I have 7 chickens and 6 ducks but I'm getting rid of the ducks tomorrow (to messy for me) and I really want pigeons! My parents don't see the point in breeding and selling but I really want them any tips?

tell your pRENTS THEY AE VERY/FARLY NOT AS DIRTY AS DUCKS. REQUIRE LITTLE SPACE. BREED ALOT FOR SELLING. EAT ALMOST A TEASPOON PER BIRD EVERY DAY. CAN HOME!!! AREVERY COLORFUL. VERY FUN HOBBY!!!

What are your reasons for wanting them? Is it for food, show, or just as pets? I would have to say if one of my children came to me and asked for pigeons I would ask them what is their reason for wanting them and then I would go down the pros and cons with them on having them for the reasons they told me they wanted them. On our little farm right now at least the saying goes everything has to have a purpose. Our Dogs protect the flock of chickens and other animals we have, Our chickens and quail provide eggs, chicks (for income) and meat for us to eat so they are worth the time it takes to clean up after them. Pigeons have their uses but understanding the market for them is very convincing. Around us most people raise them for racing or meat.

Pigeons are much easier to keep and so much quieter and cleaner than ducks and chickens. keep them dry as possible, providing wide enough for one to put a beak into the water to suck up water. they can be fed very cheap easy to get food.
