Yeah, if only my treats were limited to things like that. Oh, and I wish cool mint oreos weren't so darn addictive.

I'm sure my girls will be getting their share of rice as time goes by. There always seems to be a little bit leftover.

OH GOD NO , I hate Sushi .

I was giving leftover rice , until I seen how much they love rice . NOW , I actually cook them pots of it like 3 times a week .

Chickens love fish, and it is very good for them, I say go for the sushi!

Sushi is so good, cucumber rolls, tuna rolls (raw or cooked), California rolls... mmmm... our chickens eat left over rice too... and pretty much everything that is left over goes out to the ground for them.

(Hijack alert)

I love sushi so much that I'm asking for a sushi dinner for my bday later this month!! It's so expensive though, even around Seattle where we've got super fresh fish.

We feed our chickens mainly rice (white, brown & wild ) when we feed them white we add a little crumble to it, along with DE, they eat many different types of grains but not corn unless it is fresh from the garden or an ingredient of the crumble, they also like the corn salks , bean leaves, cucumbers, steamed zuchinni, figs, berries plus they free range on grass, bugs etc. When they eat the rice it seems to end up on the ground so they are also getting their grit. In the winter they love the rice cooked from our rice cooker and taken to them warm with the steam coming off it ,they just gobble it down.
