Cooked rice question...

Can birds (chickens, ducks and turkeys) eat cooked rice? Say a couple times a week? I have never feed scrapes before, but I do have lots of cooked rice leftovers during the week and was just wondering.

PS- We cook rice w/ a little oil. Would that affect them?

Yes birds can eat cooked rice, a couple times a week.

I would keep it to a treat, rather than a staple part of their diet.

ETA- A little oil is not a problem.

I think rice would be fine. I think it would make an ok snack but I would not feed them too much white rice as it was almost no nutritional value and you dont want them eating too much of that over feed.
