Read this on another forum, and it really threw me for a loop !
old trick I've been doing for years/decades
place a raw, in the shell egg, in the grounds basket of your drip coffee maker...as the hot water streams over your egg and thru your grounds to make the coffee, it cooks.
when coffee is done, remove and peel your soft boiled egg...let it rest in there for a few extra minutes for firmer texture.
I cut the egg onto a piece of toast and head out the door.
