What do you all do with old cooking grease. I save some bacon grease for cooking with but what creative things do you do with your old grease?

Grease my kids chairs at the table, mop the bathroom floor with it to see who hits the toilet first...that's about it. Not really but that would definately be cheap entertainment. We mainly use it to light fires in the burn barrel out back. Not very creative, but it works.

I like to feed the birds, so I buy the cheapest bread I can find and use it to soak up drippings and put it in the suet cages. The birds love it.

Depending how far you want to go with creativity................ you can clarify the grease and make soap, candles, etc.

well, I feed mine to my chickens

bacon grease i save and make cornbread with it. when i fry chicken with either lard or shortening, i let it get hard again and dump it out and my pan is cleaned, only if its a cast iron skillet, sometimes i just feed it to the chickens mixed up with some chicken feed, they seem to love it!
