Cool find in Canton Texas

I went to Canton Texas today to their first Monday's sale and found a couple of vendors selling orig. nesting boxes. I bought a 2 nest unit that I liked ...but they had them as large as 8. Most were priced between 20-40 each..much cheaper than I could have made them for - if I had to buy the materials. Because we have 6 hens - I may go ahead and make one more nesting box - maybe one that is a bit larger. I will post pictures when I get home in a few days.

We bought a 3 hole nesting box there a couple years ago before I'd even thought of chickens. It hangs on our back fence as a decoration. Who'd a thunk we'd now have 5 chickens!

Canton is an awesome place!
