Hope I’m posting in the right place.
well here we are, first day of fall and just yesterday we installed a rope light in the coop to help make up for us loosing light. We want all the girls to keep laying throughout the fall and winter. Well I put the lights on a timer and tested them out and realized I had bought a “cool white” Light set as it is all they had. Typically I would have picked a “warm white“. As with my last flock the warm white rope light worked like a charm to stimulate egg production. Do you think the cool white will work just fine or should I be on the hunt for some warm white?

If it worked before.....why mess with success?
Then again..... I don't think warm or cool is going to make much difference as long as the light is bright enough and the timing stays consistent.
