Cooling off chicken

I was wondering would it be safe to put a small kiddy pool in my chicken run? The run is very large enclosed and fenced and covered . I have 22 two month old chicks. I live in northern Arizona and it gets up to a 100 .

I would be worried they are to young yet and would panic if they fell in, you could just fill it up part way and put some large rocks in it so they could get out if they fell in and panicked. you can turn on a sprinkler for them one that moves the water from side to side
