Oh, funny me, I'm new at this forum business, I thought the "stop them before the dig" was a signature line. I tried the wire on the ground initially last year and didn't like it getting caught in my weed-eater and mower. Otherwise, I totally agree, why work harder, not smarter.

Cover it with just enough dirt to let the grass grow up through it and you won't have those problems​
