i just lost 2 of my chickens cause of a coon or something it pluted the feathers off it any advice

Keep the chickens locked up tight at night. Get a live trap and catch the coons. Pop them with a .22 and bury them. Coons usually only hunt at night. If you see them during the day they may have rabies. BE CAREFUL.

Skin them and make them into hats or something. It is not too hard to tan the furs.

I've used catfood, sardines, table scraps, and this one was eggs.

Trying to catch a Raccoon now. I've got eggs and fish in the trap.
The Wildlife Camera has caught him going up to the trap but so far he hasn't entered. I think this one has been caught before.

If you get one in your trap and don't want to shoot it, please don't relocate it! I don't know what your laws are, but here we can just load up the trap and take it to the animal shelter and they put them to sleep. We have done several that way, my husband just took one yesterday. Pretty much every food in the trap has worked. We have trapped 18 since May.

I've used peanut butter on bread and marshmallows this summer (not at the same time)
Both have worked great!
