coop and pin build

will do forsure. Im gonna build the nesting boxes in the building but on the outside of the coop for less obstruction and more room for perches does it matter how high my boxes are or should I just go midway with them? We have lots of neighbors and family who already buy farm eggs so I might sell a few here and there to recoupe some feed cost. But we eat 6 to 8 eggs a day
 
I was on Meyer's website earlier today. They are pretty back-ordered on most of the popular breeds. You can get into June on some of them.
 
i don't think it really matters how high just as long as your roost poles are higher then the boxes. And its a good idea to block them off until the chicks get ready to lay so they won't get in the habit of sleepin in the nest box.
