coop and pond

Our coop is about 12x12(well our barn is) then there is a 10x10x6 dog kennel enclosure attached to it. They also have a fenced in area to go out and eat grass and bugs in. We don't have a pond. I have the smallest kiddie pool you could buy I think lol Its what my ducks prefer, had a larger one but they didn't want to go in it. I rarely see my muscovy's in the water.

How Many Scovies do you have? Ponds are too much hassle for a lot of people. I had one and went back to kiddie pools

I have 6 ducks all together right now....I would probably stick with the kiddie pools. We tried a homemade pond and it was a disaster! And boy did it STINK! Kiddie pools you can just dump and refill!

I personally would allow 4-5 foot per duck. The pond doesn't have to be too big. Big enough so you can freshen the water every day, not too heavy. They will use it for breeding and to clean their nostrils/beaks.
Have separate water for drinking.
