Coop and Run roof materials?

I am currently building a bantam coop and enclosed run. But I am unsure what is the best material to use for the roof. I live in south east Texas and we usually get into triple digits in summer. Any advice would be helpful.

Summer temperatures here can get in the 90s.

Sloped roof I used asphalt shingles.

Flat roof I used 1/2" hardware cloth covered with translucent Fiberglas panels.
