I think all my comments still apply. Where are you planning on getting your chicks? It's pretty common for feed stores or hatcheries to nave minimum numbers with 6 being pretty popular with feed stores. There are ways around that. If you need some ideas let us know.

3 to 4 is not a bad plan. Start small and get experience. Good luck!

think that would depend on what that stuff looks like. It might be considered clutter which would improve the quality of the space available, not detract from it.

Why make it so small? Bigger is better. Yes you could stuff 8 chickens in there but I would not.

Probably because not everyone has unlimited space and/or money.
