I subscribe to The Family Handyman magazine. I've found it to be a helpful magazine for all sorts of ideas and projects around the house.
The current July/August 2014 copy highlights the construction of a garden shed. The exact one described may be a bit too much for a chicken coop, I think it would be very helpful to some newbies as to construction ideas and inspiration to those just starting out.
