Coop construction...

For me, that list would include being a walk in style coupe, having nest boxes accessible from the exterior, a poop board under the roost, a built-in section that can be used for brooding or isolation in the case of non-communicable issues, windows for light..... and, of course, ventilation, ventilation, ventilation.

Walk in style.
Big enough: to allow at least 4 s.f. for maximum intended flock size.
Separate broody area.
Nest boxes inside floor foot print but with outside access.
Lots of windows and multi level ventilation.
Preferably soil floor, with good skirt to make it predator proof. If standard construction floor, water proof floor and at least 12" up side walls.
GFCI outlet.
Auto pop door.
Oriented with roof slope so the snow load does not land in the run, or fall off roof to block human door or pop door. Maybe built in an area where massive snow load is not an issue!!!!
