The lead foreperson AKA my wife approved a coop extension and slight relocation.
The coop will have 16” added to both sides and either a flat or slightly sloped roof. The new size would be 4’ by 4’ 6” with the same size chicken run of 5’ by 21’.

Definitely go with a slope on the add ons. It won't have water sitting on it that way.

Agreed! I always manage to acquire "something" when I start a new project - it's almost a requirement! I've just started on my coop and I'm already angling for an airless paint sprayer... there's gonna be a lot of painting!

Oops, I ordered too many. Even the packaging is wrong, it says 4 pack but there are 5 cups in each package.

@Rogerson253, never a bad idea to have some spares... these things are somewhat easy to accidentally damage (usually with some amount of human error involved - chickens can't do much to harm them).

See if you can work some new powertools into the change order.

Make sure you start the renovation first, so you can say honey I have to go get blank and blank, I don’t have what I need, and this project is started. Lol
