Thanks! I do too! Tom got the tin from an abandoned old chicken coop (with permission , of course!) We offered the owner fresh eggs but he said with a grin that he appreciated the jesture but that he'd seen all the eggs in his lifetime that he ever wanted to! Tom also offered to paint the tin so it would look more like new but I think the rust gives it great character. We're realy proud of the way it's turned out and it's nice that our neighbors do too!

This coop is for Jungle Fowl rather than Chickens. So it is far more of a run than coop. But I hope it is usable by some of you as a run design for your Chickens. Do pay special attention to the weaknesses of this design and how the elements in it overcome those weaknesses. In a general since this is an "Engineered" structure and each part is serving more than one purpose. know the parts entire purpose before deciding to change it. For example all the boards used on the walls are not only covering space so birds cannot get out. they are adding wight to prevent the thing form blowing away in strong winds. One very strong point about this design is that it screws together and can actually be taken apart and moved with the hardest work being removing the chicken wire and digging new holes for the posts. otherwise everything is screwed together.
