Coop Costs A Real Shocker!

Hehe, I'm SO glad that DH didn't think to do the math involved.

Actually, come to think of it I avoided it too after a while. I know it topped $300 but after that it was see no evil.

Hehe, I was googling trying to find a see no evil monkey and found this...

See No Spending, Hear No Spending, Speak No Spending, Admit No Spending... yep, that works.

We've had chickens 3 yrs and added a new coop each year. I don't want to add up the cost, even though we used an old sheep building the first time and old privacy fence panels on the second two. Still 2X4, 2X6, metal roofing, wire, and other items from the lumber yard. Then the fly pen, course we had to make it safe and add another 6 foot of loose chickenwire to dissuade raccoons. The best investment we just added, automatic water system to all of them and it ran around $300. Buckets, floats, nipples and pvc. Worth every penny and they love it and are never left dry. No more hauling and cleaning out water pans. YAY!!

I don't want to put $$$ on my hobbie gone wild. It's worth it and no one complains about the eggs!!
