Agree with the others. I'm putting mine on the outside and then covering the edges with wood.

Thanks. Had a mini panic attack there. We put it on the outside of where it had to be so, I'll add 1x2 trim later to cover it up.

Plenty of progress today, getting down to the end here. Just ran out of daylight.

Did paint this morning. Thanks to my wife and son JT for helping. Got it done quick.

Added some hardware cloth and also finished up side panels to the coop part, cutting out what will become the nesting box.

It was hot today. Man, good test to see just how hot things might get in their for the chickens. More tomorrow!

Got the rest of the roof installed and the framing for the nesting box completed.

Fully in the mode where I need to finish this thing. The chicks are no longer amused with their box. Pop the lid off and out they come.

OK, here is today's progress. Got the hardware cloth mounted... Was way harder than I had hoped. Got the last bit of siding mounted, and while not shown in the pictures we built the human door.. Which was super fun, never done that.

It's really no fun to deal with. First time and it looks like it. So hard to get to flat and tight!
