I think your best best is build something larger so your birds can have comfort . Use the " Cabinet " to store your feed and supplies . exactly what "cabinets " are used for .

how big do you think the structure should be?? We also want something fast to build.

I would SUGGEST 4x8 coop with roost area and nesting boxes ... with an attached run that is totally predator proof .

larger would even be better .

We just finished putting on the wire for the run today. We decided to use BOTH welded wire and chicken wire, both are also burried. Like i said, the run is 8X10 now and is on a slope. Thanks for all those links by the way! Thanks for all the posts. you have been a BIG help!!
