Thank you all!Didn't get to slap any boards together today and I think I got some dirty looks when I went to check their food and water...

Hopefully tomorrow I'll get somethin done.

Did manage to pick up the rest of what I needed today so it wasn't a total loss.Should be good to go from here on out.

Gotta love Lowe's and the employees that screw up mixin paint...

Got 2 gallons of $30 stain/paint for $5 a gallon.

Are those 1x4 boards? I've wanted to try something different for my next coop and I was thinking 2x2's, but 1x4's seems interesting!

Yep,1x4's.Part of an old fence I scrounged.Still enough life to use um for a coop.

Well despite bein sick I managed to get the nesting boxes done.

If it don't rain to much tomorrow I'm hoping to get more done.

I hate being sick.Makes it tough to concentrate and I got thunderstorms rollin through.

I can't get a break.

Well I finally got the roof on this thing.Even gave um a skylight.

Still got some left to trim off the back,I wanted to get it all on.

The front startin to get put together.

Neighbor kids givin me a hand.Gotta love the lil ones wantin to help.Even tho I only get so much done while makin sure they ain't gettin hurt.

My half-arsed door I slapped together.I don't like it, I'll prolly build a different one later.Even got redneck power...

And the little chickies checkin out their new diggs...

Couple little roosts for um.

Still got a lot more to do.Another coat of paint and trim around the windows.Couple more loose odds and ends and it should be all set.

I can't wait till they start layin eggs...

I like the clear piece of roofing. I think I'll use that idea on my coop too!

VERY nice! Lots of very good ideas there. Hope you post more pictures later. I'm starting to build one very similar this week for ten blue Orpingtons. Thanks for the pictures and ideas.
