Coop door

I am new to this! I bought a coop at Tractor Supply (mistake, I know) and the coop has no windows. Should I make the coop door glass so the chickens have some light? I dont get up at the crack of dawn and I feel bad they are in the dark. Any advise would be appreciated!!!!

That depends, windows are great and awful at the same time, if they were sitting in full sun it could get really hot , I'd rather put in a screen door , so the air can flow threw.Two opening on opposite sides would be good

Don't worry i bought one too , but I just wanted to convince hubby to build me one

, it worked , we returned it and renovated his shed
