How Big Of A Door Do The Chicken Need To Get Out To The Run?

Well I would imagine it needs to be a few inches wider than your largest chicken.

Just make sure it is big enough for your largest chook to get through easily.

So, without having to take a tape measure to your largest chicken, I would suggest you make the chicken door about 12 inches wide and 15 inches tall. Unless you have Jersey Giants ..... then go bigger.

well i do have Jersey GiantsI NEED HELP on a door size i want to make a door in the bottom of the coop for them HELP to get out in the run this is my first time having chickens
