I particularly like that you can feed and water them without dragging poop and shavings around.

I myself have a pair of Crocs that I only wear in the coop.

Peepkeeper,
It was also to keep from getting mud and yuck in their coop during the rainy winter. This keeps them dry and toasty as well!
