Coop Floor***Updated*** Question Need Suggestions

Boy Speckledhen you nailed it about the expansion. We've already built the second coop and it's only been 5 months since we brought our first chicks home from the farm store. There are some days where it just seems like yesterday and other times it seems like we've had them for years. CoyoteMagic...looks great and best of luck to you. Let us know the final total of chickens cause our 10 turned into 39 and we are still wanting more. WHAT AN ADDICITION!!!!!

Question

Look at the picture of the side view. What do ya'll think about instead of having a solid side all the way up to the roof, I put in hardware cloth in that angled space along the side? I'm thinking it will help with venilation here in the summer. I could put plastic or if I can afford it, plexiglass over it in the winter.

Whatcha think?!
