Coop Flooring Question! Help!

can you paint pressure treated 4x8 sheets? Or should you even try to paint it? Or just lay down the linoleum....

THanks!

I like that extra protection that you have. I have a question though. I read in Chickens for Dummies, that linoleum is not good for a chicken coop. Is that because they could pick at it and eat it?

Hello, I coverd my plywood floor with a rubberized roof coat (Comes in a 5 Gal. can) that I found in Lowes. Rolled it on heavy with a roller. I figured, if it's good enough to waterproof a roof, Why not a chicken house floor. Before I moved the chickens in, Had a storm blow rain into the house. The rain harmlessly puddled on the floor, evaporating away within the day. Another plus, once it drys, no chicken is going to pick it off.

We used linoelum with a wood pattern. Just cut it to size and used roofing nails around the edges to hold it in place. It's very easy to clean, and looks great. Everybody who looks inside our coop thinks we put in a laminate or real hardwood floor.
