Hi everyone, my husband and I are in the process of building our first coop and are trying to decide on a material to use for the flooring. It’s a raised coop with a wooden floor but we want to put something like linoleum or use rubberized paint to help making cleaning a bit easier. We’ll be using sand on the floor. Any recommendations from your experience? Thanks!

Either is good, I'd like to think that vinyl sheet is a bit easier to scrape but it can get slick for chickens if there isn't enough bedding.
Thanks!! We were thinking vinyl may be easier to scrape too. I think we’ll just need to make sure there’s enough bedding to avoid any slipping.

We bought cheap no voc sheet vinyl at Lowes. We also use at least 4" of shavings on top(deeper in some areas). We've had no issues with our floor.
This is so helpful. Thank you!! I think we’ll lean toward vinyl flooring since that’s what you and others have mentioned.
