Coop heaters

The emiter is positioned so there is no extreme heat on the chickens and it warms the air in there sleeping and laying are.

We have 2 coops of which neither are heated. Both coops have a foot print of 4' x 8'. One is close to 7' tall and the other is 3' on the ends and 6' in the center. They are both well insulated and vented. We have had temps in night in the single digit ranges and everyone is fine. The water and fed are in the coops with the birds. Each morning I bring them fresh water and open the coop up. There might be, once so far this year, a crust of ice on the water. One coop has 8 birds and the other has 6 birds.
