Coop height?

I'm building a chicken coop, and was wondering if four foot would be too short for the building?

if you're talking about the building where your chickens will nest i think 4 feet is plenty tall for them. But, I wouldn't make it too small for you because you will have major back cramps if you hunch over whenever you go into the coop!

Heh I am 5'6 and my girlfriend is 5'3 not too short for us!

Oh and with a chair or step stool we can jump into it!

I've built a 4' high coop in the past and it worked wonderful! I was going to build another just like it since we're now back in the country, but the wife wanted one that looks like a playhouse so I went with 6' walls instead.

I had a big enough door on the 4' I could crawl in if needed, just had to be careful where I put my hands when crawling in
