I want to build a coop and run big enough for me to walk inside.

I built mine to be used as a typical shed if not being used as a coop. I think the design could be used to modify an existing shed.

It is 10x14, the back 8 feet is coop, the front 6 feet is entryway and storage for garden things and chicken things.

The front and back are divided by 2"x4" garden fence with a screen door from a sliding glass door as the door.

Ventilation is 4' of the side open 24/7/365. From early spring to late fall, the ridge vent and eave vents are also open. From mid- spring to mid- fall, the windows are taken out and the openings left covered by hardware cloth. The front doors are open sometimes.
