About those drippy holes: as another poster suggested, just get some silicone caulking and seal them up good. Doesn't have to be pretty.

One additional thought, after looking at your set up. It looks like your roof is flat. That means you'll get some water pooling on the roof when it rains: the water won't' run off quickly. It's going to be harder to prevent leaks on a roof like that, especially at the seams. It's good that you've caulked them, but you might find some spots that need more caulking when it does rain.

you are probably fine with that coop, might not hurt to put a tarp over it in the rain!
i also dont know how bad the wind gets there, but you may want to keep that in mind

Tom, I am from Bakersfield, well Arvin actually and when I was a kid we had more chickens than I can count and since they were all game the roos had to be housed separate, every one of out coops were open most more open than yours and never had a problem, I live in Fort Wayne now where it gets real cold, below zero at times and they still spend most of there time in the run but here they have to have a coop for many reasons, but your set up will keep you some happy birds
