Coop in the Couve

When I do the pictures on here , I open the thumbnail on my uploads to the larger pic first, then copy the properties url . Same thing when I do doing my page .
From what I can see, nice coop !

Looks like it's turning out really well. Pictures while not perfect were fine.

It takes a little bit of tinkering with editing software to get it figured out. My phone puts a lot of data into a picture so I usually open it on my computer and the viewer offers an edit button so I click that and choose Crop from my menu options an get rid of the extra stuff and do a > File > save as on my menu. Give it a name and save to a folder setup just for my uploads so I can find it. Doing this makes it a copy leaving the original alone. Then if its still too big when opened at 100% I click edit again and then Resize and usually use a filter already on the menu to save for a large web image. This removes a lot of the extra color stuff monitors can't use but makes your image large due to contained data. Using a .jpg ext is also good because it compacts the image and makes it a smaller data wise. After uploading I double click the image to open on a new page and copy & paste the address link of the image and then insert that into the proper place in the IMG HTML code for images in a post.

Are you buying feed in Camas or Orchards if your on the east side of town?

this is the first coop I have seen that looks almost exactly like mine! mine is 5 by 12 also, but on the fence line so I only built 3 walls. I'll try and post pics soon

I think once the coop is done I will tinker with the photos and see what I can come up with. With the time frame I am working with no time right now. Work, baseball and coop building ar to much. Oh also gardening and lawn care come to mind this time of year. Luckily this weekend is the first nice one we have had. Todays dutys include hauling a yard of sand for the run up the hill(not fun) and building the people door and last a ramp for the chicks. Coop will be done except for building 3 windows but I think they will be ok without them for a few days until they are done.

As for feed I have been getting it over in Portland by my work at a local feed store. I need to see what is available here and Orchards is the only one close to me. What are brand are you feeding yours? I have read a few threads on food but all the feed listed no one sold around here. I know they are just chickens and will eat anything but would rather feed them good natural food. They have been raised on organic starter so far along with fruit and veggies from the house.
