Coop inside or outside of dog kennel run?

Thanks all. Sorry I didn't get a picture posted last night, I got distracted by using my garage wall to double the run space.

Now I'm wondering if anybody has used cinderblocks to put their coop on stilts and get it higher off the ground. Also, how hard is it on the chickens if I keep improving their home after they've moved in?

My 4'x8' coop is inside my 20'x20'x6' chainlink dog kennel run. I only have six chickens. Putting the coop inside the fence was much easier than trying to attach the kennel to the coop.

I definitely recommend putting the coop OUTSIDE the run! I love the fact that nobody has to go inside the dirty run to collect eggs, and I can clean and catch birds without having to go inside the run and make a bunch of noise. Notice that the chicken wire begins at the front of the coop frame and goes to the door. (I can access the logpile from the front or side), thus my coop is outside of my dog run.
