Coop is almost done

Well my coop is almost done. Only have $13 in it but LOTS of hard work. It's mostly made from pallets other than some wood shingles I had laying around. Still have to secure the roof membrane and throw some more shingles on.

I will have to take some more when I'm finished. I do have a few but not of the inside. Here is the deer "Macy" checking them out.

I built the coop 4' x 8' and left 2' of the 10' pallet so they could hang out in the daytime. I have them in a 10' x 20' dog lot. They love it...I think.

No my neighbors rescued her and now she lives outside on her own and has adapted well. She is "tame" though and comes every evening to visit everyone. But she doesn't go to strangers and I guess that's a good thing.

The coop opening seem small. I would refer 9x14". Again, I got Jersey Giant awhile back and he about 24" tall.

Good point! Didn't think about mine growing. Right now they fit fine but are only a couple months old.
