Coop is finished!!!

OH MY!! How fantastic is that! He did a great job! Your yard is so pretty. I lived in Oregon briefly in my (very) early 20s. I was impressed at how green everything is all year round. So beautiful! I grew up in Montana and it is very different here. My hubby biult my coop and run as well and he too did a wonderful job. I have to say though that yours has a certian character about it! Arn't we lucky they love us!

I'm glad that the mulch is not probably an issue. Hubby was not going to be happy about having to truck out all that mulch

I don't think you should have to worry about the possible cedar chips in the run. It's the cedar bedding that is bad, it's not good for them to breath in the dust from the cedar, cedar bedding is bad for all animals actually (rats, rabbits, hamsters, dogs, chickens)

The chips shouldn't be a problem though.

Here are a few pictures of the inside.

This little box (above) is the coolest thing. My husband put two lids, one thats always down for the chickens to poop on and then it lifts up and hooks to the wall so that when you go in you always have clean seat while you visit! And you can store things under it too. I was very impressed.
